Still life

I run over my blog today and noticed that I didn't write personal stuff for a long time. So here is the short update for everyone who is interested in it:

I'm doing fine. I'm still in love with my fabulous BF who means the world to me.
I'm still working as an actress. Sometimes more, sometimes less. And therefore I'm still trying to learn as much as I can about acting. And I do a lot of stuff to get the money for it.
My hair is getting longer every day and I can't wait to wear it shoulder-length again.
Wonderful friends are around me and I'm grateful for it. Thanx to you!
I'm still too lazy to answer phone calls, write mails or text. Sorry for that. Nevertheless I do think of you all and I will find a moment for all the open calls:-)

Mummy's Time

For another flying visit, my mom is coming to Munich again. Just for a weekend but better then nothing, hum? Haven't seen her for months. Aunt Inge will be with her. So the Ladies are in town - you'd better watch out!
Hopefully the weather will get better the next days! If not we have to eat a lot of Brez'n & Weisswürschtl'n:-)

I'm excitedly looking forward to the first weekend of July! It's been a long time since my last workshop and now I have the honor to participate in a Mark Travis Workshop! Or should I better say: in an Actors Bootcamp? That's what it's called and hopefully it will be that intensive, exciting, surprising and challenging, I expect.
The scene I will play is from Thelma & Louise. So I have to learn a little bit of text until next week. Hope I find the time. It's Filmfest in Munich and I wanna see a lot of movies...

I LOVE the wonderful costumes, hair & make-up, the artwork, etc. Everything is made with lovely attention to detail. Can't wait to see the movie - oh, and to play a role in a Tim Burton movie one day:-)

Yesterday I saw this movie and it broke my heart. It's breathtaking how beautiful our planet is. And it's concussive that we might be one of the last generations to experience our planet in all of its beauty.

Just watch and enjoy the beautiful pictures, the great impressions. And then tell me you are not touched. That you are not thinking about the consequences that our behavior might have. And that you are not trying to change your way of life a little bit.

Clean it up

Going out and watching movies with Svenja is always fun. Especially with such a fantastic movie like Sunshine Cleaning. As from now on I'm a huge fan of Emily Blunt (ok, I already loved her in The Devil wears Prada) and Amy Adams (who definitely looks like the young Cynthia Nixon). Both women play with such a wonderful fragility that makes me cry. This movie is funny and touching at the same time. Watch out:
